Country Newcomer Rachel Lipsky Releases New Single and Lyric Video, “Bones”

April 30, 2014 - PRLog -- (Nashville, Tenn. – April 29, 2014) – Country music newcomer Rachel Lipsky (http://www.rachellipsky.com/) has released her debut single, “Bones.” The track is now available on iTunes (https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/bones/id865236792?i=865236795) and a lyric video has been created for the track, which can be viewed here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGTqUWX1218&feature=youtu.be).

Produced by Shane Barrett, “Bones” is the first single released by Lipsky who plans to release her debut EP later this year. A concept video is also being created for the track and will be released in the upcoming weeks.

With a sound that balances between high-heeled country sass and southern rock, Lipsky acknowledges her biggest musical influences as Gretchen Wilson, The Band Perry, Miranda Lambert and Luke Bryan.

Lipsky also draws musical inspiration from her childhood favorites such as Mary Chapin Carpenter, John Denver, Patty Loveless, Blondie, Pat Benatar, Tina Turner and ZZ Top.

“My music is fun with a little bit of an attitude,” says Lipsky. “I love upbeat, fun songs that have a heartbeat and drive. I like to move people and try to find or write songs that do that. I enjoy taking people away from their stresses and problems and to a good time place.”

Even though Lipsky is releasing debut music, she is no stranger to the stage. The newcomer has already been named the 2013 IMEA Country Female Vocalist of the Year, was invited by Armed Forces Entertainment to perform for the troops overseas and has been asked to perform the national anthem at numerous Professional Bull Rider events.

While all of her musical accomplishments have been unique experiences that have helped to shape Lipsky into the artist she is today, she states that touring overseas to entertain US troops were some of the most important performances in her career thus far.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to perform for the troops. Going all the way back to high school, I was trying to get gigs to perform for them,” said Lipsky.

That dream came true in May 2013 when Armed Forces Entertainment put Rachel on a 17-day tour through Djibouti, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar, which she describes as ‘the time of her life.’

Lipsky’s schedule is already filling up with numerous shows including the Taste of Country Music Festival in New York, Country Jam Colorado, Headwaters Country Jam in Montana and a headlining gig at Irish Fest in Iowa.
