Funky Langport Café ArtTeaZen Revamped by New Owners
Another business in the vibrant town of Langport has been taken over, re-fitted and re-launched by new owners.
They have gutted the place in record time; the café was a hive of activity as builders, decorators and artists helped out to get the work completed as quickly as possible. The cafe has undergone a complete refurbishment with new paintwork, lighting and bright sunny fabrics, and it has not lost any of its funky magic, the name says it all. It still retains the unique, artistic, chilled, friendly character that makes ArtTeaZen so special.
Kate Wilson has returned as chef and the café now offers a range of breakfast, brunch and lunchtime meals. ArtTeaZen now has an alcohol licence so you’ll soon be able to have a glass of wine with your meal.
Andy and Clare are planning to have evening events such as Jazz and Open-Mic Nights plus Pop-Up Restaurant Evenings and there is also a lovely room sat the rear of the café that you can reserve for larger parties or business meetings as well and a little outside courtyard for those summer evenings. Just watch this space!
Peter Roberts, Chairman of the Langport Area Business Group, says: “Andy & Clare are a very welcome addition to Langport and the Business Group, ArtTeaZen is a great little café and much more, well worth a visit. Yet another business to add the growing number of new and revamped businesses in Langport, come and check it out soon!”
ArtTeaZen is open from Mon to Sat 9 am until 5 pm and Sun 10 am till 12 noon.
