Brady Speers to Serve on Board of College Alama Mater

BROWNWOOD, Texas - April 20, 2014 - PRLog -- It has been over 20 years since Brady Speers was a graduate of Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. Since then he has been busy developing a business career, working with various ministries, writing, and raising a family of five. Starting this year Mr. Speers will rejoin the school in a volunteer role on the Alumni Board of Directors for the  next three years.

"My life was changed by this school," stated Mr. Speers. "I was headed down a wrong path at a larger school but God used this area and the people I met here to take me in a different direction. It was the best time of my life and will never forget those days either. This only makes sense for me."

While getting his undergraduate degree at HPU Speers was a very active student. He was involved in men's fraternity called Delta Pi, helped start one of the first Christian night clubs called Club J, and started working for himself before graduating in 1993. He attended Baylor University after HPU and obtained a Master's Degree in 1996.
