Safe Retirement Experts Stays Busy with Charity Events

ARLINGTON, Texas - Dec. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- The last few months has been a busy time of charitable activities for the staff and founders of Safe Retirement Experts. Each year the group makes a strong effort to give back to the local community in various ways including dinners, a 5k race, toy drive and more.

“This time of year it’s always so fun to get involved with the community and give back as much as we can,” said founder Brady Speers. “It’s busy but this is what life’s all about – helping others.”

Earlier this fall Safe Retirement Experts was one of the sponsors of the annual Walnut Ridge “Beast Feast”, an outreach event for men featuring various meats and game. This year the guest speaker was former Dallas Cowboys great Bill Bates. This event followed the Dallas Cowboys Happy Hill Farm kickoff luncheon at AT&T Stadium to start the NFL Season.

“We do cheer on the Dallas Cowboys,” Speers added. “So it was great to be a part of the kickoff luncheon for the 12^th year in a row and then to see Bill Bates at the Beast Feast a few weeks later topped it off. Not to mention we got to help people along the way.”

Another event that grabbed the charitable attention of the company was the 125^th Homecoming for Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. Mr. Speers is on the Alumni Board of Directors and Safe Retirement Experts was a proud sponsor of the event that helps raise awareness and money for the small private college.

Working with children in need during the Christmas season is something the founders have believed in and promoted for over a decade. The tradition continued as the group is a proud sponsor of a trip to El Salvador in which needy children will receive clothing and toys. The group leaves in the middle of the month and will be working with families there for about a week.

“This is our first year doing this,” Co-founder Chris Novinger said. “We normally spend our efforts on various toy drives, but this year we wanted to join forces with a local ministry that helps a specific community in this country. It’s an honor to be able to help this group help these families and children have a better day.”
