The National Women's Empowerment Network Announces Launch Party

The NWEN announced April 11th is the date for their free networking event.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - April 9, 2014 - PRLog -- The National Women's Empowerment Network (The NWEN) will host their launch party on April 11th, 2014 at Danny's Big Easy Restaurant (18th&Vine) 5-7pm to give women in business and leadership positions a forum to expand their network.  Join local & state elected officials along with representatives from the business community (bankers, investors, philanthropists etc) as NWEN empower women led firms to network.

The NWEN's goal is to improve the current statistics citing Kansas as being one of the lowest states of women-owned firms created between 1997-2013. The State of Kansas reported growth was 23%. (2013 American Express Report http://www.womenable.com/userfiles/downloads/2013_State_of_Women-Owned_Businesses_Report_FINAL.pdf).  Also, Missouri showed 37% of growth during this same period.  NWEN's goal is to inspire and empower women to start or grow their firms by providing networking opportunities and educational forums to aide and provide assistance in the challenges traditionally faced by women in business.

The NWEN will empower women led firms to expand their network by providing a forum where they can interact with other professionals.  The NWEN will serve as a viable resource for women-owned firms regardless of their position in the network (entrepreneur seeking start-up money to top executives seeking to grow their business).  The NWEN will also serve as an educational depot for the latest in health, science, business and technology.
