MALVERN, Pa. - April 1, 2014 - PRLog -- David Consulting Group (http://www.davidconsultinggroup.com), a global provider of software analytics, software quality management and Agile development solutions, will present two sessions at this year’s Quality Engineered Software Testing (QUEST) conference.

On April 8, Tom Cagley, Agile Practice Manager, will present the half-day tutorial, "Make Integration and Acceptance Testing Truly Agile (http://www.qaiquest.org/2014/tutorials/make-integration-acceptance-testing-truly-agile/)." Attendees of the presentation will discover why the flow of testing in a typical Agile project is much more integrated, as well as how incrementally built testing, performed in waves, can save rework.

On April 10, David Herron, Vice President of Software Performance Management, and Pat Eglin, CMMI Instructor and TMMi Service Provider, will co-present, "Using TMMi to Measure, Improve, Deliver Higher Quality Software." The presentation will focus on the benefits of the TMMi model, the de facto international standard to assess and improve test maturity, which features independent best practices from more than 14 quality and test models.

DCG will also be available throughout the conference in the exhibition hall at booth #12. In addition to the company booth, Tom Cagley will give an EXPO Talk session. He will discuss DCG's Agile Project JumpStart solution (http://www.davidconsultinggroup.com/solutions/agile/agile...), which brings a rapid-response team of project specialists to work alongside an organization’s existing staff to quickly address the introduction of a new capability. Tom's talk will provide attendees with an understanding of how DCG has combined Agile project management and Agile testing processes to reduce risk and ensure delivery.

“We look forward to attending QUEST every year as an opportunity to learn more about the quality and testing practices of other practitioners and to discuss the challenges we’re facing as an industry – and how we’re dealing with them,” said David Herron, Vice President of Software Performance Management. “The insight we receive is invaluable in fostering a more comprehensive picture of the state of quality and testing in the industry, and we are excited to share what has been working for DCG and how our solutions may be useful to others.”

The QUEST conference series (http://www.qaiquest.org/2014/) is the best source for new technologies and proven methods for Quality Engineered Software and Testing. Thought leaders, evangelists, innovative practitioners, and IT professionals from across North America gather together for a week packed with classes, tutorials, educational sessions, hands-on workshops, discussion groups, an EXPO, and networking events. The conference will run from April 7-11 at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore.
