NEW YORK - March 11, 2014 - PRLog -- SK WILBUR, the newly launched accessories line from New York, is celebrating the premiere of its Spring 2014 tote collection, “Happy” with the launch of its very first crowd funding initiative via www.beforethelabel.com. Debuting this week, the initiative gives the fashion savvy consumer the opportunity to purchase the line’s signature tote a month before it is available in stores.

Inspired by the designer’s love of music (particularly Judy Garland’s Get Happy) and his passion for color, Each piece of the SK WILBUR collection is handcrafted showcasing the commitment, attention detail and passion for his craft that “handbag architect,” Wilbur Pack, Jr. puts into every piece. His classically designed and decidedly fun pieces are manufactured in New York —an homage to the great tradition of style and design that the city is known for.

The HAPPY Collection is based on Wilbur’s firm belief that “everybody is a star.” With that mindset, he has made it his mission to create beautiful accessories for today’s woman. Simple yet meaningful, the collection marries a bold modern look with a clean, classic style. The complete (http://nyprdiva.wordpress.com/2014/03/11/cmon-get-happy-w...) line features four silhouettes made of cotton canvas and leather (the tote, the cross-body, the clutch and the mini)—each one perfectly suited to fit the lifestyle of a fashion maven on the go—all at an affordable price (from $15 for the mini to $250 for the signature tote).

“With times being so challenging right now, the tote is a great way of bringing a little bit of’ happiness ‘into one’s life without breaking the bank,” said the designer, Wilbur Pack.

SK WILBUR is offering an exclusive opportunity to share in the brand’s happiness through this campaign before the signature HAPPY Tote hits stores. The totes will retail for $250  in store, but this month the fashion savvy  will be able to get one exclusively for $150 plus shipping—a 40% savings. Each tote measures 15” tall, 19”across, 7”deep with a cotton lining and has handles that are 23” long. Also, each bag has an inside pocket perfect for easy access to your phone, wallet, mints or anything that you might need in a hurry. It is available in four different color combinations (Black/Cream, Red/Navy, Lemon/Tangerine, and Tan/ Mint). The tote bags (http://nyprdiva.wordpress.com/2014/03/11/cmon-get-happy-with-sk-wilbur/) will be produced within 4-6 weeks after the campaign ends.

It is Pack’s hope that people will embrace and support this endeavor as the monies raised via the Before the Label initiative will be used to expand the line.  Until then, New York’s stylish women will be able to get their “purse on” with the limited edition HAPPY collection which will be available a select few boutiques around the city. The campaign ends March 28th.
