BamType.com Selling First 1,000 Accounts Through Ebay Auction

ANAHEIM, Calif. - March 6, 2014 - PRLog -- BamType.com has just recently launched in Beta mode on March 3rd with the intended goal to provide users an opportunity to register their favorite hashtag by buying a beta code through ebay at $99. Only 1,000 accounts have been alloted for sale for the sole purpose of raising funds to improve on the BamType platform.

BamType.com is a centralized directory of hashtags that can be used to attach statuses to them for instant sharing with anyone. It uses ajax for it's search results so as a user types, status results for each hashtag are instantly displayed.

BamType.com was founded by Juan Benavides, a self professed code hobbyist. "You can't exclusively own a hashtag like you can a domain, but I thought it would be fun, and convenient to provide a platform where users can claim their own hashtag for sharing statuses by way of instant search results." Said Juan.

This means users can attach a photo, video, link, commentary, or a combination of all of them to their hashtag for instant retrieval via search. Users can also passcode protect their hashtag status on the fly.

Members can also promote themselves by providing a photo and, brief personal introduction, as well as links to their social networks, which is all accessible simply by hovering over their chosen hashtag.

"The proceeds from the auction will be used, for initial server costs, and to scale the platform in ways that will benefit our hashtag owners. A mobile app is definately in the works as well." Said Juan.
