Stratton Craig bolsters in-house team as growth continues
During a prosperous 2013, the team of specialist writers enjoyed further growth, adding Brit Williams and Nick Driver to the talented team at their Southwark office.
Brit Williams joined the in-house team having honed her written and editorial skills with leading male health and lifestyle magazine Men’s Health. Her impressive résumé also boasts experience as a journalist, columnist, and blogger for the likes of The Times, Women’s Health and Runners World. She is a writer with diverse skills, taking a specific interest in the health and leisure industries.
With an MA in English Literature from the University of St Andrews, Brit is passionate about the written word in all its forms, and is currently sharpening her creative focus with the writing of her first novel. Brit’s particular strength lies with long-form copy, applying her journalistic style to crafting compelling company features. Since joining, she has worked on projects for high-profile clients including UBS, Clydesdale Bank, VINCI Construction UK, International SOS and Royal Caribbean International.
Nick’s first experience with Stratton Craig came after gaining a degree in Business Management and Marketing from the University of Winchester, completing an internship before supporting the team on a part-time freelance basis for more than 12 months. Nick returned to the team in-house on a full-time basis after developing his branding and written communication skills on both the client and agency side. Working for a leading south coast agency, he assisted property developers with their stakeholder engagement, before coming to London as a marketing executive for global culinary arts academy Le Cordon Bleu.
He fulfils the needs of clients predominantly in the finance and automotive sectors, producing web content and blog posts that motivate action and conversation. On joining the Stratton Craig team, Nick commented: “The last few years have been an exciting period of growth for Stratton Craig, and I’m thrilled to be joining a team that never compromises when producing great copy, even when working on high volume content projects.”
