FlipSnack update: multimedia digital magazines

March 3, 2014 - PRLog -- This week, FlipSnack will release a significant product update in the form of a multimedia editor. After people upload their PDF and JPG files, they will have the option to enrich them with different items:

- links to websites or pages within the publication

- buttons (credit card, shopping cart, social media, call and more)

- PayPal checkout (enabling readers to buy directly from the pages of the magazine)

- captions (expandable descriptions or explanations, for anything in the flipbook)

- outlines (highlighted areas on pages, that can be hyperlinked)

- lead forms (popup forms that can be used for subscriptions or gathering data from users)

- texts (basic formatting)

- audio  (files from computer or record)

- video (from YouTube)

All these items can be inserted in the flipbook by drag and drop and can be placed anywhere on any page. They can be customized in size and color, and they can also be easily removed if the user wants to.

The multimedia editor is available for all users. However: forms, PayPal checkout, audio and video are premium features and they will only get published in exchange for points or a premium subscription. The Publisher plan costs $144 and gives users access to all the premium features: no watermark, up to 500 pages, embed and download options, and the new multimedia editor.
