Houston R&B Recording Artist Ashlyn C Releases New Single “The Thrill”

Feb. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- Houston R&B recording artist Ashlyn Carr, known as Ashlyn C, has released a new single entitled “The Thrill” from her upcoming compilation “My Time.” “The Thrill” was co-written by DeAndre Wright, another Houston songstress, tells the story of becoming acquainted with a new love. It’s a story that anyone can identify with and the ladies appreciate, Ashlyn says, the song goes through the beginning process of liking someone and just trying to establish that connection with another person.”

Ashlyn’s “My Time” compilation stays true to its roots of R&B by remaining pure and inspirational with songs such as “The Thrill” and “Gold Pieces.” “The mix tape encompasses all my artist inspiration; therefore, creating my own sound,” as Ashlyn describes her work. The mix tape will have seven original songs and will be available late March 2014.
