There are many people who do not have proper vision and thus it becomes essential that they get the right exercise for the eye so that their vision can improve. There are many ways that can help in getting better vision but eye exercises when done regularly can help in a great way.

Every person craves for having proper eyesight so that viewing things is not a problem.  However, if for some reason there is some problem in vision then doing eye exercises to improve eyesight is the best way to get rid of the problem.  They have come up with some eye exercises that can help an individual get rid of problem of low vision to a great extent. Enlisted are some of these exercise which when done regularly can help in improving the vision of a person.

Eye Movement:

It is one of the most preferred exercises for improving the peripheral vision of the patient. All that is needed to be done is keeping the head fixed and moving eye n different directions such as clockwise, right to left and vice versa, counter clock wise and below.  When performed on a daily basis for two to three minutes, this exercise helps in improving the vision.

Blinking of Eyes:

Blinking of is one exercise that can contribute in improving the vision. A person is required to blink his or her eyes for two minutes at the interval of four to five minutes. This, in turn, helps in increasing the time of attention to a great extent.


In this exercise, all that an individual has to do is place his hands over the eyes with the palm and thus covering them. Make sure that not much pressure is put on eyeballs so that they can blink freely. Next, close eye for sixty second and it would render complete relaxation to the mind.

Thumb Exercise:

Thumb exercise is done by extending the right thumb and placing it on the front of eyes. Then take a deep breath focussing complete attention on one object that is about ten feet away. When this exercise is performed for two to three minutes on a regular basis, one can get strengthened muscles that will lead to improved vision.
