Follow on Google News | All GSA Schedule 75 Office Supplies are urged to respond to the Bornstein & Song OS3 FSSI SurveyThe 3rd Bornstein & Song FSSI National Survey is intended to gather data on the Office Supplies OS3 FSSI impact on Schedule 75 Office Supplies vendors. This may be the last opportunity to make your voices heard while the OS3 is in the planning stages
By: Bornstein & Song FSSI Research GSA has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Office Supplies 3rd Generation (OS3) FSSI which will replace the Office Supplies OS2 FSSI. The RFP Response Date Deadline is March 17, 2014. The OS3 will be implemented in May 2014. The OS3 RFP indicated that the OS3 will be Open Competition by allowing bids from ALL SAM certified vendors, whereas the previous Office Supplies (OS1 and OS2) FSSI limited participation to only Schedule 75 holders. This RFP strongly suggests that the Schedule 75 will quickly go away and effectively lose its position as a preferred group of vendors for the procurement of Office Supplies. On December 18, 2013, Bornstein & Song Research issued a Press Release entitled, “Alert! GSA Schedule 75 Will Be Effectively Eliminated by FSSI OS3 in May 2014”. Bornstein & Song highlighted the concern that the OS3 may spell the end of GSA Schedule 75. Furthermore, the OS3 model may not bode well for the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) vendors with 18,500 contracts under the MAS procurement program which has generated over $35.8 Billion in annual sales. http://www.prlog.org/ Bornstein & Song FSSI Research is conducting this CONFIDENTIAL survey. All responses will be held in the strictest of confidence. For more information on Bornstein & Song FSSI research, please view their website at http://www.bornsteinsongFSSI.com End
