PRLog -- The POC-200 Series condenses a complete computer system into the size of a 3.5” hard drive. It's based around the new Intel Atom E3845/E3825 quad core processors, up to 8Gb of memory, dual GbE ports, 4 x USB ports and 2 x COM ports making it versatile in a wide range of applications. The POC-200 offers a SATA port for an internal 2.5" HDD or SSD, and there is also an optional 16GB on-board eMMC module available should you wish to separate OS or the application from the main disk. The specification is completed with a mini-PCIe socket and two optional COM ports for further system configuration.
The latest Intel Bay Trail Atom quad core processors are the first to offer Intel HD GPU, offering a significant boost in graphics performance with faster high definition graphic and media conversions over previous Atom generations. The latest 22nm technology ensures a very power efficient design, drawing less than 10 watts of power during operation.
The POC-200 series is housed in a rugged and fanless aluminium chassis which offers good heat dissipation alongside a solid design. Due to careful engineering, the system offers an extended operating temperature range of -20 to +70 °C, enabling use in applications where extreme changes in temperature may be present.
