Feb. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- (CHANDLER, Ariz.) – In celebration of National Career & Technical Education Month, Odysseyware, leading online curriculum provider, has released 14 additional courses (http://odysseyware.com/products/cte) in its Agriculture and STEM course clusters.  These courses are the first to be offered since the company launched its new Student Experience (http://odysseyware.com/) earlier this year.

February has been designated National Career & Technical Education (CTE) month (http://www.acteonline.org/ctemonth/) by the Association for Career & Technical Education (ACTE) to celebrate the importance of offering our learners every opportunity to be successful in whatever path they choose for life after High School.

“Odysseyware has long been committed to providing the K-12 landscape with the most robust, engaging CTE courses, as it is so important our students are exposed to as many opportunities as possible for life after high school,” said Susan Johnson, vice president of curriculum development for Odysseyware. “We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate National CTE month than to release more courses in the fields of STEM and Agriculture.”

Odysseyware offers courses in seven CTE career clusters (http://odysseyware.com/products/cte) including Business Management and Administration; Hospitality and Tourism; Health Science, Human Services, Information Technology, STEM and Agriculture; and Food & Natural Resources. The company continues to add new courses regularly, both in CTE and other academic areas.

Johnson added, “It is imperative that we support students in their quest to discover what opportunities await them after high school.  By offering the largest library of CTE courses in the K12 market, Odysseyware is in a unique position to partner with districts to meet legislative requirements of CTE and online education being passed across the country.”

Every course is designed by educators to help students acquire core academic skills and take ownership of their own learning. Odysseyware kicked off 2014 with the launch of its new Student User Interface (http://odysseyware.com/), created to make online learning even more enjoyable and intuitive for every user.
