One of the higher civilian award instituted by President of France

One of the highest civilian award instituted by President of France ““Knight in the French National order of merit” has been announced to  Mr V. V. Mujumdar, founder and managing director of Institute of Applied Research, Pune . The award is announced for the special involvement and contribution  of Mr V. V. Mujumdar with Alliance Francaise de pune. On behalf of President of France this award will be presented in a special ceremony to be held in Pune.

Mr V. V. Mujumdar is a small scale industrialist. Mr V. V. Mujumdar has special interest in Research. For the first time in India he has developed an import substitute products like Ball – Screws and Skid Rollers.

Mr. V. V. Mujumdar has received three times Parkhe Award, Dahanukar Award and Gold Medal of World Intellectual Property, Geneva. Mr. V. V. Mujumdar is fluent in seven languages like Marathi, Kannad, Hindi, English, German, French and Spanish.
