Marseilles, France’s Le Café Julien To Host EmergenzaEmergenza will bring its rock festival to the stage of Marseilles’Le Café Julien on Sunday December 15, 2013.
Emergenza is the world's largest festival for up and coming unsigned bands. It holds concerts in more than 180 cities around the world. It features up and coming bands from across the globe. The festival is held in elimination rounds in different countries throughout the year. The first rounds are decided by the attending audience. The vote is open and the audience can vote as many times as they want for as many bands as they choose. The final rounds are judged by a jury panel of professional judges. National winners are flown to Germany for the international finals. The flight, accommodations and local transportation are all paid for by Emergenza. Bands talented enough to make the international finals get the honor of sharing the stage with some of rocks biggest legends. The international winner is crowned the “Best Band in the World” and wins a tour, promotion, studio time, musical instruments and more! Five bands are scheduled to take to the stage at Le Café Julien to compete. Each band gets a thirty minute set to strut their stuff. Bands scheduled are; pop rock band Maria K, funky soul band Eleven Express, reggae band Green Paradise, metal band FMR and acoustic band Acoustac.
