The Hawaii Group Moves Forward with Bold Expansion in the Topa Financial Center in Downtown Honolulu

HONOLULU - Jan. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Honolulu, Hawaii (January 22, 2014) – Proving more formidable than ever, The Hawaii Group has again commenced aggressive renovations at its expanded location.  With a newly signed lease on an additional space adjoining its existing ground floor offices, the company announces that it is following through on its stated commitment to sustainable growth and improved capacity to service its clients. As part of the substantial renovations underway, the company plans to connect the two suites, effectively converting the space into one substantial office that will occupy the majority of the mauka wing of the  ground floor of the Fort Street Tower in the Topa Financial Center.

Located at 745 Fort Street in downtown Honolulu, the Topa Financial Center welcomes the new expansion, where The Hawaii Group first joined on as a new tenant back in July 2013.  Combining Suites 116 and 124 creates a new office space that will house The Hawaii Group’s rapidly growing divisions.

“Topa has been a wonderful building to be in with all of the great amenities,” explained Delaney.  “Clark Hatch Fitness is a plus, since we pay for our employees’ health club memberships as part of our culture and wellness initiative.  There’s also a wide selection of food and restaurant options, which is a bonus, since we provide lunches for our staff on a regular basis.  Also, they have a great pau hana spot with jazz music at ‘Mezz 127’ which is an ideal spot to entertain our clients.”

Delaney attributes much of the leasing success to Curt Nakamura, the General Manager at the Topa Management Company.  “They are a great property management company and have been very cooperative throughout our tenancy and our most recent negotiations,” shared Delaney.

Once renovations are final, the Penthouse (7,149 sq. ft.) will host the The Hawaii Group (HiGroup), Hawaii Human Resources (HiHR) and Hawaii Marketing (HiMRK).  Suite 124 (2,041 sq. ft.) will host Hawaii Employment Services (HiEmployment) and the adjoining Suite 116 (1,884 sq. ft.) will host Hawaii HealthCare (HiHealthCare), Hawaii Nursing (HiNursing), Hawaii HomeCare (HiHomeCare) and Hawaii Accounting (HiAccounting).

The total shared space will equal an impressive 11,074 sq. ft.  The company has committed to investing  $70,000 in the expansion.  Matt Delaney, Chief Executive Officer of The Hawaii Group, sees this most recent expansion effort as the next logical step and a perfect evolution for theThe Hawaii Group’s thriving and expanding businesses.

HiHR will be celebrating its 5-year anniversary on February 6^th up in the Penthouse to share the amazing sunset views, while serving refreshments, pupus and providing local entertainment.  A formal office blessing will be held in March once tenant improvements are completed.  The unveiling of the new office space will include entertainment, tours of the penthouse and the new office space, as well as food and drinks furnished by some of The Hawaii Group’s catering and hospitality clients.  Invited guests attending the unveiling are sure to be impressed.
