Born and raised int Staten Island, NY, Kritikal has been writing, recording and performing music since the age of 12. Capable of writing party anthems and pop songs, some would call his music a mix of Hip Hop and Pop- close to the likes of artists B.o.B. and Drake.  In 2009, Kritikal began his partnership with multi-platinum producer Keith Clizark and joined Mash’n Entertainment. Later on that year Kritikal went on to successfully release his single ”Miss NYC“ featuring Anthony M. "Miss NYC" became an instant hit, receiving continuous air time on Top 40 radio stations across the country as well as being nominated for Best Hip Hop Song at the 2010 Hollywood Music in Media Awards in Los Angeles, CA.
