Communications Based Train Control leaders meet to discuss implementation of future rail

Conference organisers Sagacity Media will be holding a one day informative networking event in London on March 12th, bringing together key leaders to create a common voice for Rail and Metro transport operators
 
Jan. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- London Underground and key supplier Bombardier recently announced the re let of the CBTC Sub Surface signalling contract for the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City, and Metropolitan lines.

An exciting time for the CBTC industry, as the London Underground is one of the oldest metro's in the world and estimated to carry over one billion passengers a year.

Engineering Director, Capital Programmes, London Underground, George Clark will be presenting on Railway of the Future and will also be joined by SUP ATC Engineering Manager, Hugh Bridge also of London Underground.

London Overground and Crossrail Deputy Operations Director, Duncan Cross, will also be presenting on the conference, discussing the challenges of implementation and interoperability of integrating CBTC with the existing ERTMS system.
