2014 Helotes BBQ Cook-off, Featuring Reckless Kelly

SAN ANTONIO - Jan. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- The City of Helotes, working in partnership with WESTERN Premium BBQ Products, is proud to announce the 2014 Helotes BBQ Cook-off, part of the WESTERN W3 BBQ Cook-Off Series that is expected pay out over $100,000 in prize money over three events.

Sanctioned by the International Barbecue Cookers Association (IBCA), the Cook-off will feature 150 BBQ cooking teams and a large vendor fair with numerous retail and food vendors.  The festival begins at 10 a.m. at the Cornyval Grounds, 12210 Leslie Road, Helotes, TX 78023.

Country music sensation Reckless Kelly will entertain guests starting a 9:00 p.m., with Cactus Country kicking off the evening’s entertainment at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are on sale now at www.helotesbbq.com.
