NY DUI Attorney Has Client's Case Dismissed Without Need for Trial

Allegations within the Criminal Court Complaint included that JG was stopped at an NYPD DUI checkpoint at about 1:40AM at or near West Houston Street, lower Manhattan, NY. An NYPD officer alleged that they observed JG operating the car and that they knew he was impaired by marijuana because they smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the car . Further, the NYPD agents alleged that JG had bloodshot watery eyes and that JG admitted to smoking marijuana.

Attorney Redenburg's client denied the allegations made in the Criminal Court Complaint and the case proceeded. On January 16, 2014, the People of the State of New York also known as the DA Office moved to dismiss stating that they would be unable to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt.
