Toughshield appoints Olaf May as CEO to lead the company in its next phase of growth
May joins Toughshield as the company prepares to launch a range of products to address the growing demand for rugged mobility
Commenting on his reasons for joining Toughshield, May said: “Having managed sales operations for both the consumer and enterprise mobile markets I have seen the effect of consumerisation on the enterprise and government markets. There is rapidly increasing demand for rugged devices with consumer features and as a brand with vast smartphone experience and an aggressive product roadmap, Toughshield is perfectly placed to meet this demand. I look forward to leading the company as it enters this next stage in its development.”
Toughshield made a number of management appointments in 2013 covering strategic planning, sales and marketing roles, as well as country managers to cover the DACH and Nordics regions, France, Italy, Iberia and North Africa. More appointments are expected shortly.
