Healthy Habits Come to Android Users in 2014
2Morrow releases a new Android app that helps people form healthier habits.
About 40% of our daily decisions are based on habit, not conscious thought. This can make creating lasting change difficult. However, it also means that even small improvements to our habits (default behaviors) can significantly improve our lives. 2Morrow has taken this philosophy and designed Healthy Habits to facilitate this approach to behavior change.
The app allows users to select habits that they want to work on. Users define motivations, track behavior and achieve milestones. They even receive customized reminders when they get off track.
"We are very excited to offer Healthy Habits for Android users," said, Jo Masterson, COO of 2Morrow, Inc. "Over 200,000 people have used the iPhone app and users have been asking for an Android version."
The Android version of Healthy Habits follows on the heels of Healthy Habits for iPhone, which won first place in the United States Surgeon General’s Healthy Apps Challenge for Integrative Health.
Healthy Habits for Android is available in the Google Play Store at an introductory price of just 99 cents.

Why Habits Matter: With the new Affordable Care Act, more focus is being placed on preventive health care. And, when it comes to prevention, nothing is more important than developing healthy habits. The CDC reports that 75% of health costs are the result of chronic disease, most of which is caused by our own “modifiable behaviors” (or bad habits.) .
