Wordsmith's most recent release “The Blue Collar Recital” is pure magic

LOS ANGELES - Dec. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Wordsmith is a rare commodity in the music industry.  His music spans from grabbing onto the coat tails of classic hip hop and taking it to a level rarely reach by others in this field,  His music extends out to having his music displayed in all their glory on major television shows, national commercials, movies,  gaming and just about everything in between. For a musician, entertainer/performer/songwriter/singer to grasp a tight hold on every major category in entertainment takes a masterful mind who not only sees what the future holds, he’s got a firm grip on it as well.

Wordsmith worked hard to get to this point in his life.  He came from Baltimore, Maryland.  Back then his hip hop was a fusion of its original sound to today’s evolutionary trending sounds.  He started his own independent label NU Revolution Entertainment LLC along with his own website Revolt Radio in 2009 to which he caught the attention of critics in and around the hip hop scene. Wordsmith worked with legendary Chubb Rock for the release of their “Bridging the Gap” album during that same year, followed by “Old 2 the New” which peaked at #2 on the Rapattacklives Hip-Hop Charts – and it didn’t stop there.

Even with so much going on in his life, he managed to encapsulate some of his most brilliant works into one album titled “The Blue Collar Recital” which was released in September 2013.  In it songs such as “Summer Love”, “My Brilliance Shines” and “When Your Faith is Tested” became representative of the masterful composing techniques of this beautiful mind.  Each song has an intricate storyline told with passion and delivered through some of the best innovative fusion of old and new ever put together.

“Summer Love” carries a heavy swagger.  This song takes you out of the main stream and into the layback summer season where you let your stress go for while as it allows you to meet that special someone which eventually turns into that summer fling….Wordsmith sends the signals out on this one loud and clear with its smooth, sultry sound that grabs you right from the beginning.

“My Brilliance Shines” is significant as it highlights the goodness that each one of our youths possesses but never allowed to feature due to lack of opportunities in life.  This can be from the poor, the handicapped, the timid, the meek, those who think they have nothing to offer society…but yet something inside them is bursting to be heard saying “yes” giving those who are less fortunate a chance to “shine and become leaders of tomorrow”, states Wordsmith.  Mixing the sounds and rhythms of the 50’s and injecting it into current day rap beats took this single into a stratosphere never reached before.  It is one of a kind in creativity and composition and is truly memorable in so many ways.

“When Your Faith is Tested” is about being faced with daily challenges that tests your faith and beliefs and how to hold on and believe that one day God will hear you and relieve you from your sorrows. It gives audiences a glimpse into the mind of a true genius. Wordsmith took a main beat and created an opera filled with glorious chorus, glorious rhymes with a storyline that just grabs at your heart strings and won’t let go.

Wordsmith holds no boundaries and no limits to where he can take his thoughts, create spoken word and magically deliver music that inspires, and fills you with emotional.  There is no subject that can’t be preached on….He is Wordsmith, a master in the art of creation.
