Members Choice Credit Union Advances to #7 Small Business Lender in Houston

HOUSTON - Dec. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Houston, TX— Earlier this month, Members Choice Credit Union (MCCU) moved up to the number seven rank among the Top 10 Lenders in the Houston SBA District Office by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The SBA evaluates over 100 lenders in the 32-county Houston district during its ranking process. Of these local-area small business lenders, Members Choice was the only credit union to make the top ten. “We’re pleased to continue to provide local entrepreneurs with the opportunity to realize their dreams of small business ownership, and in turn bring jobs to our community and help strengthen our economy,” said Steve Gilman, President and CEO of Members Choice Credit Union. “We are fortunate and proud to have a great team of individuals in our Business Lending Department who have made this recognition possible.” The Business Lending team includes Business Lending Manager Bruce Hurta, who served as the 2013 President of the Board of the Houston Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders,  Pat Harris, Business Lending Administrator, Regina Jenkins, Charmian Rosales, and James Lopez.
