Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS) - Definition HASS - on the basis of HALT - concerns a procedure in which the quality of the series-produced product is tested. HALT / HASS Seminar Day One On the first day of the seminar, Dr. Jochen Beier, Senior Test Engineer - Environmental Simulation at SGS Germany GmbH, presented the principles of HALT/HASS (http://www.sgs.com/ HALT / HASS Seminar Day Two On day two of the seminar, Edwin Dietel, Reliability Engineer at Continental Automotive GmbH, held a presentation on; “HALT/HASS – Early Detection and Optimization of Reliability Indicators”. In the workshop part of the day, Dr. Jochen Beier performed a practical demonstration of the HALT method at the local SGS HALT facility. The second seminar day ended with a lab tour of the Environmental Simulation department. The event offered participants plenty of opportunities for discussion and feedback both during the workshop part and the casual discussion breaks throughout the two seminar days.
