CLEARWATER, Fla. - Dec. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Attorney Morgan Gaynor of Roman & Gaynor recently earned recertification in Civil Trial Law by The Florida Bar. All Board Certified attorneys in Florida are required by the bar to pass recertification every five years. Less than two percent of all Florida attorneys have earned the right to refer to themselves as Board Certified experts in the area of Civil Trial Law. According to The Florida Bar, Board Certification is the most valuable assessment of legal knowledge, skill and proficiency in their area of practice.

Recent surveys show that about 75 percent of individuals who are searching for an attorney will use the internet at least once in the process. This upward trend indicates that consumers often use the internet to compare lawyers’ credentials before contacting one. The Florida Bar has recognized this, which is why they use Board Certification as a way to set certain attorneys with extraordinary skills and experience apart from the rest.

Only Florida attorneys who possess Board Certification are allowed to refer to themselves as “specialists” or “experts” in their field of practice. For Attorney Morgan Gaynor, he has earned the right to be referred to as a civil trial specialist or Board Certified civil trial expert. These terms let consumers know which attorneys are experts and which are not.
