LEOMINSTER, Mass. - Nov. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Due to popular demand, the consignment store Cutiques plans to regularly host complimentary presentations and workshops for local business owners and community residents.

By hosting the events, the Leominster-based home furnishing and decorative retail outlet hopes to help businesses get the word out about their services, and to foster community outreach and education.

Cutiques plans to continue hosting “Lunch and Learn” sessions and hands-on workshops throughout the upcoming year.

“November is Shop Small Business month and we are happy to share our space at Cutiques with local businesses owners,” said Cassandra Abramson, President and Founder of Cutiques and ECI Stores. “As small business owners, we are all trying to find new and interesting avenues to get the word out about our products or services. By offering ‘Lunch and Learn’ sessions during the week, and hands-on workshops during the weekend, we are helping local businesses and bringing value to the local community.”

In October, Cutiques hosted a knitting session by Warmer Winters, as well as a discussion by Dr. Drury on spine health.  Earlier this month, Vintage Updo conducted a presentation on how to quickly and easily transform your furniture using Shabby Paint chalk paint. Because of the positive response, Cutiques decided to make the complimentary presentations ongoing.

Cutiques is part of ECI Stores, which make up the largest consignment stores in New England. Offering a wide variety of décor and furniture, Cutiques receives new items for furnishing the home daily to always offer new selections to its customers.

Area businesses interested in holding a session are welcome to contact Cutiques at 978-534-6604. “Get Organized” workshops at Cutiques are slated to run during January 2014 in conjunction with the National Association of Professional Organizers, an initiative to Get Organized for a great New Year.

Those interested in attending Vintage Updo’s hands-on training workshop on Saturday, December 7 can register by calling 978-534-6604. Seating is limited.  Attendees will complete a project using the chalk paint techniques demonstrated by Vintage Updos.

Cutiques is located on the 2nd floor of the building of 12 Manning Avenue, Leominster, MA and is easily accessible off of Route 2. There is dedicated free parking at the store level, allowing access for disabled parking.
