PRLog -- LOS ANGELES, CA - November 12, 2013 – Kim Ruha of Memories by Design states in a recent blog post, “A popular trend among new couples is the creation of custom hash tags, something like #BobandSarahsWedding. A custom hastag can help couples gather together all wedding photos and other vignettes. This may seem like a strange idea at first, but why wouldn’t you want an easy way to collect photos taken at your wedding?” She continues revealing the numerous benefits of using Social Media during your wedding and during your wedding planning process.
Ruha says, “First, most would agree that the reach of social media is very wide. If you post a status on Facebook, all your friends have the oppotrunity to see it right away. But it is
after the wedding that a post on Twitter or Instagram can do wonders. Post a picture on Instagram and within days (if not minutes) of your posting, your friends and relatives will join you by sharing their own photos from the Big Day.” The best thing about this is you get access to candid or behind the scene photos from your guest’s perspective. Kim says, “You can easily save these pictures and compile them into one digital album. You may consider having another wedding album made of pictures from your guests point of view.”
Although social media has its benefits, you don’t want to go overboard with it. Kim, a wedding planner in Los Angeles (

In other words, you can post your pictures for as long as you see replies or comments. When the comments have tapered down, it’s probably time to stop posting.” She always tels her readers to keep in mind that when you post pictures they become available to the public, so proceed with caution of course.
