The Funny and Talented Luxor Menopause Cast Joins Guy

Las Vegas, NV (Novembe^r 12^th, 2013) – PR Connections radio is excited to announce this week’s guest co-hosts, the talented cast of Menopause The Musical.  Menopause The Musical is a celebration of women who are on the brink of, in the middle of, or have survived “The Change.”  It is playing now at the Luxor Hotel and Casino. Guy Dawson, PR Connections host, and the Menopause cast will be talking music, business, and their road to Vegas, this Wed November 13^th at 1:00 PM on KLAV 1230AM.

The musical takes place in a lingerie department, where four women with seemingly nothing in common but a black-lace bra reminisce on the memories of loss, hot flashes, night sweats, not enough sex, too much sex, mood swings, and those pesky chocolate binges.  This all-female cast embarks on a musical journey where menopause is no longer considered “The Silent Passage”, but a normal part of life that transcends every woman into a sisterhood of music, understanding and laughter.

The Las Vegas cast includes Paige O’Hara who was the voice of Belle in the Disney classic, “Beauty and the Beast” as well as local favorites Laura Lee O’Connell, Lisa Mack, Vita Corimbi, Lori Legacy and Richel Kompst.  Guy is looking forward to hosting PR Connections with all of these talented actors.

“I had the opportunity to see the Menopause Show recently and I was really impressed by how in sync the cast was,” he said. “I look forward to having them as guests and learning more about their backgrounds as artists and actresses.”

Menopause The Musical made its stage debut in 2001 in Orlando, Florida, seating only about 75 patrons.  Today the show has celebrated its 3,000^th performance and has entertained audiences across the country in more than 450 U.S. cities and nearly 300 international cities across 15 countries.  It was also named the longest-running scripted production in Las Vegas.
