Local Talent Dresses Local Talent at the 2013 UBCP/ACTRA Awards

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Nov. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- It's going to be a glamourous night at the Vancouver Playhouse as BC actors and actresses with fellow UBCP/ACTRA members pack the house to celebrate five award winners including:  Best Actor/Actress, Best Voice, Best Newcomer, and Best Stunt.   The event, now in it's second year aims to raise the profile of BC's home grown talent and honour the unique BC film and television community.  Ten presenters, including host Ellie Harvey (The New Adams Family, Cabin in the Woods, Happy Gilmore), will be wearing exquisite gowns designed by Shelley Klassen from Blushing Boutique's 2013 Holiday Line.

Shelley Klassen http://www.blushingdesigns.com/biography.asp has built her career creating irresistibly feminine couture.  Over 14 years as a label, she has dressed celebrities such as Brooke Shields,  Jennifer Beals, Erin Cebula, Tamara Taggart and many more.  In 2007 she opened her 1500 square foot flagship store Blushing Boutique http://www.blushingboutique.com/ located at 579 Richards Street in downtown Vancouver.  Blushing is unique because behind Shelley’s chic store front is yet another 1500 square feet of inspired hustle and bustle which is Blushing’s design studio.  The studio offers custom design and fitting to flatter every shape.  Shelley’s passion is making women feel deliciously gorgeous, so it’s no wonder that her gowns will be on the red carpet and on stage at this year’s celebration.

On November 24th 2013, Local talent dresses local talent at the 2013 UBCP/ACTRA Awards held in Vancouver, BC, Canada celebrating the very best of BC Film and Television performers on stage at the Vancouver Playhouse located at 600 Hamilton Street.  With hair by Opus Salon and gowns by Shelley Klassen of Blushing Boutique, it's going to be a memorable evening of picturesque proportions.
