They wanted to let all Dallas area residents and business owners know about these extended office hours due to the heavy increase in client submissions caused by the Government Shutdown. The change was brought on because the IRS continued to send out computer generated letters during the shutdown, which produced intimidating and threatening letters to taxpayers regarding applications of levies. These newly extended hours were created with the taxpayer in mind and they want nothing more than the ability to assist their clients in any way possible, even if that means working on the weekends.

The flexibility of the new office hours will allow folks that work throughout the week, and do not have the time to call and talk freely during the day.
