Delta Faucet (http://www.deltafaucet.com/), the leading manufacturer of faucets and fixtures.  Seeking to improve their shower head water distribution technology, Delta partnered with Bowles Fluidics to develop a low flow showerhead product that lead an industry struggling with government water restrictions.

Bowles worked with our Delta to research and define droplet size, velocity and spray pattern parameters to provide the ultimate shower experience.  By choosing a large oscillating stream, larger; more desirable droplets could be produced.  For a given volume of water, larger droplets have less surface area, which means that they retain more heat.  The result is a shower that not only feels good, but feels just as warm with lower temperature water -allowing the homeowner to save energy and water while the fluidic oscillations make less water feel like more.

Bowles’ strength lies in the ability to create controlled, customized, and repeatable spray patterns for vehicle windshield, headlamp, rear window, and back up cameras; as well as products where proper spraying/dispensing solutions were not previously available.  Drawing upon over fifty years of experience, Bowles Fluidics Advanced Products (non-automotive) Division can create spray patterns that were thought to be impossible, as well as solutions for thick, viscous materials that were previously thought to be ‘unsprayable’.
