| The Beat Goes On for Free Music and a Classic Car Show at Village at ArrowheadFall Music and Classic Cars Highlight Activities at Beautiful Glendale Shopping Center
By: Marks Public Relations The bands include the Still Cruisin Band Oct. 11, One More Time Band Oct. 18 and the Roadrunners 50s and 60s Band will wrap up the fall concert series Oct. 25. All music will be performed on the patio of AJ’s Fine Foods. “Our concert series and classic car show has been extremely popular with people of all ages,” said Mary Walker, president of Power Promotions, and coordinator of events at The Village at Arrowhead Shopping Center. “In addition to the music and classic car show, many find it enjoyable to window shop at our beautiful center and prepare their gift lists for the coming holiday season.” Beginning November 30 there will be free carriage rides with Santa and carolers from DeerValley High Schooland other holiday festivities every Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. through Dec. 21 the shopping center. The carriage rides and entertainment are free, but shoppers are encouraged to bring two cans of non-perishable food per person or a cash donation to benefit A New Leaf. The mission of A New Leaf ‘s has been helping families ...changing lives has had a positive influence in Arizona for nearly 40 years with over 25 programs Valley wide including homeless and domestic violence shelters, youth and community programs.
