FlexSim Healthcare 4.04 released, includes new features

Customer comments and requests following the release of FlexSim HC 4.0 in April have provided the basis for some of the software’s most useful features to date. Most notable among these is the addition of the dot plot chart type, which has been added to most dashboard metrics to improve the analysis of a simulation model.

“Dot plots are the best way to see data from an experiment,” said lead developer A.J. Bobo. “This was one of our most requested features, and we’re happy that they made it into the release.”

Several changes have also been made to FlexSim HC’s flowchart utility in order to make the model-building process easier and add a necessary update to the flowchart’s toolbar.

New features involving the output of data to spreadsheets, including data exported to Excel, were implemented to reduce time in dealing with unwieldy data files. History data and dashboard data can now be exported to CSV files in addition to Excel files.
