A spokesperson for the site said that they were surprised by the difference in opinion between US and UK parents, they said the attitudes were “almost polar opposites”.

They believe this is because “Circumcision in the UK is more of a religious or medical issue whereas Americans tend to do it based on a preference for circumcised males as it is perceived to be cleaner.
