By: North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources If citizens need help in understanding some of the provisions of the act, the local public library can be the place to find answers. The State Library of North Carolina (http://statelibrary.ncdcr.gov/) The outcomes of the statewide training were to help public library staff develop a basic working knowledge of health insurance resources related to the Affordable Care Act, and to connect libraries with their local ACA partners and other local agencies that provide information and help. The State Library provided a robust online portal of ACA resources. Library staff members were encouraged to copy and localize sections and/or entire pages from this information portal onto their own library's website. This resource is available at http://statelibrary.ncdcr.libguides.com/ For additional information call (919) 807-7415. The State Library of North Carolina builds the capacity of all libraries across the state, develops and supports access to genealogy and other specialized collections, and provides resources for the blind and physically handicapped. It is a division of the N.C. Department of Cultural Resources. About the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources: The N.C. NCDCR's State Library of North Carolina is the principal library of state government and builds the capacity of all libraries in our state to develop and to offer access to educational resources through traditional and online collections including genealogy and resources for the blind and physically handicapped. NCDCR annually serves more than 19 million people through its 27 historic sites, seven history museums, two art museums, the nation's first state-supported Symphony Orchestra, the State Library, the N.C.
