GA Music Awards Announces Ear Candy Artists

The GA Music Awards announces the artists scheduled to play at The Boiler Room the weekend of October 4-5, 2013 for their Ear Candy charitable event.

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Sept. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- SAVANNAH – The GA Music Awards Ear Candy has locked in the line-ups for their show, aptly titled Ear Candy 2013. The event was created to give Award Show Nation award winners the opportunity to play for a wider audience and get some air time. Cumulus Broadcasting Savannah has fully embraced the opportunity to take part in Ear Candy and provide the artists air time during the weekend of October 4-5.

“Cumulus Broadcasting Savannah has always encouraged new and upcoming artists to pursue their dreams in music. We facilitate the use of the airways for many artists, and when we were asked to participate in the GA Music Awards Ear Candy event and to help spread the word about this fantastic event, it was with no hesitation that we accepted the challenge to become the radio partner,” states Gil Jones, Jr., Director of Marketing and Promotions at Cumulus Broadcasting Savannah, “It's giving artists the opportunity to be heard in a market they may not have had the luxury to perform in or to be heard by an "ear" that hasn't heard their tune. This is an awesome event that should continue for years to come!”

Omar McCallop of Awards Show Nation, which produces both the GA Music Awards and the Carolina Music Awards, is looking forward to seeing the artists selected develop a fan base in a new market. “We are developing festivals and concert tours, like Ear Candy in Savannah, the Sonorous Music Festival in Wilmington and the Country Giving Concert Tour in Atlanta, in an effort to really help our award winning artists take that next step in their music career,” he states, “Working with such dedicated and excited partners in Cumulus Broadcasting Savannah and the CW is an added bonus. It’s always nice to find media partners who are looking to add to their music library. I am also thankful Ginger Fawcett is so dedicated to the music and festival community in Savannah, and for her help pulling Ear Candy together.”

The Boiler Room is the host location for Ear Candy, and was selected due to the unique opportunity the venue affords to have two shows on the same night on different floors.  R&B and hip hop is scheduled on Oct 4 and rock, Americana and country on Oct 5.

The acts scheduled to perform are Sevon, Toon & The Real Laww, D’Ambra Renee, BB London, Metropolis, Tia Michelle, Final Draft, Doski Wo, Janis Mara, Chi Chi Diva, Nalee, Byron Hatcher, James Ethan Clark & The Renegades, Liquid Ginger, Nickel Bag of Funk, Unbreakable Bloodline, Kelly Ballard, Kris Youmans, The Tiger Creek and Swamp da Wamp.
