Brian L. Wells Singing at United Methodist Church of the Atonement

CLAYMONT, Del. - Sept. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Brian L. Wells is pleased to announce that he will be playing as part of a traditional/ contemporary church service at the United Methodist Church of the Atonement in Claymont, DE on September 29, 2013 at 10am.  This will be the first live performance of his latest original release “I’ll Follow His Light”, a song about Brian’s personal journey through recovery from addiction. This event is well timed to coincide with the annual celebration of National Recovery Month in September.

Contemporary Worship leader, Len Speed and the church’s Praise Band will incorporate three of Brian’s original songs: “Brother How I Miss You”, “This Is Our Great Country” and “I'll Follow His Light” into the Sunday services. “I am excited to be playing and singing with Len Speed and the Praise Band. I am also very grateful to Lead Pastor John Hornsberger for this opportunity to share my music with his congregation.” ~ Brian L. Wells

Brian has been singing and performing in live concerts and theater productions on the East Coast since 1988. He expanded his career into songwriting in 2006, following a turning point in his personal life.  His purpose is to inspire and move his audience, drawing from his own life experiences and struggles for his songwriting. He is confident that his music will fall on the right ears and lead to a successful music career.

He has already earned awards for several of his original songs: "Hold Me Close While We Dance", won #1 love song competition at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. "This Is Our Great Country" was a Semi-Finalist landing in the top 10, and "Brother How I Miss You" won Suggested Artist Honors in the top 25 for Country category from among 15,000 worldwide entrees in the Song of the Year Contest. His latest release, “I’ll Follow His Light”, which placed in the top 15 for the Christian music category, describes his personal journey through the valleys and peaks of recovery from addiction through faith in the Lord. His hope is that it will encourage others to healing as well.
