UK player CRMVid enters the Peronalised Video Market

Sept. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- There’s a new player in the customer engagement market, CRMVid (http://www.crmvid.com) launches later this month after substantial investment from its three directors who have been pouring funds into the development of their proprietary technology platform VENUSTM. The platform’s capability to send thousands or personalised videos in the blink of an eye has been vigorously tested in the last few months with key brand partners and now the CRMVid team say she’s ready to show off.

CRMVid are obviously hot on the coat tails of SundaySky which now totals $17m raised, with investors including Norwest Venture Partners, Carmel Ventures and Globespan Capital and Idomoo which closed a $9 million funding round led by New York based Marker LLC in June.

Talking with James Smith, the company’s technical lead, it becomes clear that these guys mean business. James described clear advantages of working with CRMVid by saying

"We have no affiliation with other platforms, effectively we can work with them all, including the main eCRMs and ESPs our software, VENUSTM generates thousands of videos simultaneously so Brands can truly focus on the perfect messaging to engage customers at key milestones in their customer lifetime or specific customer journeys knowing that the messages will actually get through and engage and enhance brand perception. That’s what the last few months of detailed testing has been all about and we’re now confident we can improve any brands customer experience and because of that their bottom line".

When describing the future for CRMVid, Tom Bird, their marketing lead says: "VENUSTM is an incredibly robust platform that we are testing and improving all the time, the payback is not only the work we’re doing now with brands helping them to retain, reactivate and reinvigorate customers via individually tailored videos that can be made in their millions but also the future possibilities and applications of the software in outdoor advertising, split testing and personalised display video advertising to name but a few".

The third director, a mystery city financier means possible further investment is likelyinto CRMVid and it has obviously been substantial up to now, seeing what work they’ve done in in developing VENUSTM and the reputable brands that are already testing with them.

In conclusion then, it seems likely that CRMVid could become a future big player in personalised videos for brands, if not more but this will depend on whether perhaps a SundaySky, Idomoo or new player to the market chooses to acquire them before they get too big for their boots.
