Soulful Moon Gives Back During September's Hunger Action Month

SAN FRANCISCO - Sept. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Soulful Moon, the socially conscious stationery business focused on the South Asian market gives back during September’s Hunger Action Month.  This ethno-chic invitations and greeting card company decided to donate 5,000 meals to Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger relief charity. Feeding America helps provide food to over 37 million Americans each year.

Soulful Moon founder, Salwa Ansari Datoo, states a key motive for starting this business was to give back.  “As Soulful Moon grows, so will our charitable giving,” states Datoo. “It is essential for us to give back to the US and international communities who support us every day.”

This month marks Hunger Action Month, when the Feeding America nationwide network of food banks unites to encourage those to make an effort in their communities. It is an opportunity to build and continue a movement that has a long-term impact on foundation’s mission to help end hunger in America.
