IRIS Analytics - Integrated Certification makes life easier for customers

Sept. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- The anti-fraud specialist’s achievement of the Payment Application Data Security Standard means that customers using IRIS fraud-detection software will find it easier and quicker to gain PCI DSS accreditation.

Nikolaus Bayer, managing director of IRIS Analytics points out that the latest version of IRIS software has been written specifically to meet PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) requirements. “When we started developing this software generation, PCI DSS was already pretty much complete so we could consider it from the beginning. We believe IRIS is therefore the only fraud prevention system on the market that was designed with PCI DSS in mind. This has avoided the need for later modifications with their inherent risks to performance”.

The total integration of PCI DSS into the IRIS product is demonstrated by the ability for customers to carry out self-assessment – at a press of a button a complete status report on the PCI DSS compliance status of the customer’s current use and configuration of IRIS is generated.

“PCI DSS certification is generally a very labour-intensive, complicated process,” added Nikolaus. “This task is now eased considerably for our customers thanks to our PA-DSS certification.”
