In this presentation, Eatherton will give a preview of where global food industry and consumer trends are headed in 2020. This outlook is based on an international survey that asked consumers questions about their expectations of the food industry. The survey results also revealed that a new highly influential segment of the population is emerging that may directly affect consumer perceptions, purchasing behaviors and policies.
Eatherton joined Ketchum in 2001 to lead the firm’s worldwide Food & Nutrition Practice, which represents clients including the U.S. Farmers & Ranchers Alliance, Frito-Lay, Horizon Organic, United States Potato Board, ConAgra Foods Inc. and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.
