ArtParty4U brings hands'-on kids art to Boulder City Art in the Park
Local Boulder City business ArtParty4U to provide children's art and craft stations at the 51st annual Art in the Park October 5-6, 2013
Projects are for all ages, and will include sand art, beading, various painting projects, mixed media collages, and other art-related activities with the projects being different each day. The goal of the stations is to give children a hands-on art experience while helping to raise funds for the Boulder City Hospital Foundation.
"Art in the Park has been a tremendous force in raising awareness of the arts in Southern Nevada," says Cheri Mueller, co-owner of ArtParty4U, "and being able to get kids involved and excited about art and creativity is what we're all about, so it is a perfect partnership."
The ArtParty4U art area will be $10 for entry, with four different projects available daily. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Boulder City Hospital Foundation, as well as the Boulder City Rainbow Girls Assembly #8.
ArtParty4U is a Boulder City business providing art classes and party art in the Las Vegas area. They do social art classes for all levels -- even those who've never picked up a paint brush -- in a variety of media including acrylic, oil, watercolor and other craft formats, as well as social art parties with limited-production artisan wine tastings included at no additional cost. They also provide face painting and balloon art with fully insured and licensed artists, plus party planning services, carnival games, bounce houses, DJ services, and food trucks.
Art in the Park is one of the largest outdoor juried art festivals in the Southwest. The event features hundreds of original artists in the fine art, fine/contemporary craft and traditional craft categories. The festival is Boulder City Hospital Foundation’s signature fundraising event. Proceeds from the event benefit the Boulder City Hospital.
Art in the Park is free to the public and draws over 100,000 visitors to the Historic downtown area. This year celebrates its 51st year of commitment by the local community in ensuring accessibility to premium health care to its residents and the greater Las Vegas Valley.
