QA Graphics Provides Bridge Data Manager for SystemWorks LLC

ANKENY, Iowa - Sept. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- QA Graphics, leading provider of HVAC graphic design solutions, is pleased to share that their client SystemWorks, LLC has implemented the Bridge Data Manager during one of their  commissioning projects for Central College.

SystemWorks, an independent, third-party commissioning provider has implemented Bridge as part of a commissioning project for Central College.  QA Graphics’ Bridge Data Manager is a data logger tool that can collect and log data from virtually any source to track performance data for comparing, trending, validating, commissioning, and reporting on that data.

SystemWorks worked with Mike Lubberden, Central College’s director of facilities planning and management to implement the Bridge Data Manger.  It is being used by the campus to verify that the utility meter data reporting, including the electrical, gas, steam, and chilled water use is performing as the building design intended.   To get the campus data from the building automation system to the Bridge Data Manager, SystemWorks used QA Graphics’ Web Interface for JCI Metasys. The interface is a web-based, software solution used to map data from the Johnson Controls MSEA system to Bridge, where the data is logged via the network or cloud storage using Microsoft SQL Server.

Before Bridge was in place, the process of verifying this data was a more tedious process for Central College, having to manually collect and organize the data through utility bills. Using Bridge's built-in user interface the campus can easily export the data to CSV or Excel. Bridge organizes the information in real time and can be configured to log the data to show how much energy a specific utility is using at any given time. The data can be compiled into daily, weekly and yearly reports or be relayed to other platforms like Microsoft SharePoint or a custom interface for more comprehensive reporting.
