Kure SMA Day and Mama Bracelets

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Sept. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- September 14, 2013 from 8am - 8pm promises to be a time filled with fun, laughter, music, games, food, good friends and new friends.  It holds a place for hope as well.

On this day, at the Greater Sports Complex in New York, the Kulas Family of four (with a little Kulas on the way!) will be hosting an SMA Fundraiser that will benefit Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (FSMA).

Jared & Sierra Kulas have two young children, both affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).  In efforts to raise awareness and funds for research, the couple created a non-for-profit organization known as "Kure for Kulas, Inc.".

Raffles, auctions, dance parties, DJ's,  sponsorships, and donations from around the United States will help bring the fundraiser to life.  A day filled with anticipation, hope and the never-ending pursuit of a cure for SMA.

Mama Bracelets has offered to help support "Kure for Kulas, Inc." as they launch their first ever endeavor of this kind as a non-for-profit organization.

Lindsay & Michael Casten (owners, Mama Bracelets) met the Kulas Family at the Annual SMA Conference in the summer of 2013.  The Kulas's had purchased some of Mama Bracelets' exclusive "Cure SMA" products a few months earlier so there was a bit of a connection.  The two couples also conversed back and forth on Facebook through the "SMA Support Group" that the Kulas's  started.

When the Kulas's mentioned the "Kure SMA Day" the Casten's wanted to be a part of it; so they offered their Cure SMA Open Circle and Adjustable Leather Bracelets for the raffle and 15% of any sales generated from the event as a donation.
