Q:  Is there a quota or minimum that has to be sold at an "MB Social"?

A:  No.  There is no pressure to sell a certain amount of jewelry.  Just as our logo states, simply stylish. simply jewelry', we like to keep things as simple as possible!

Q: Since there is no pressure to sell anything, what's the benefit for me to host an "MB Social"?

A: The benefits come in many ways...

Having a great time with friends!
Everyone can easily buy gorgeous gifts for upcoming birthdays/holidays!
Everyone can easily buy gorgeous jewelry for themselves!
For every piece of jewelry that sells at the "MB Social" the host (you) receives a percentage of that sale in free jewelry!  The more jewelry that sells, the more jewelry you get for FREE!
Every sale generated from your "MB Social" will carry a donation to the Casten Family for a new home that will accommodate Ella Casten's needs.
Even if some friends cannot make your "MB Social" in person, they can still purchase online and you would get the credit!

Q:  Why did Mama Bracelets start the "MB Social"?

A:  We decided to start the MB Social for several reasons:

It's a way to raise money for our daughter, Ella, as she has Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 2; her needs far exceed what we are able to fund ourselves.  We wanted to be active participants in the fundraising aspect of her special needs.
We'd like to build our customer base; we'd also like to expand our presence in the jewelry business.
It's a new way to spread awareness about SMA.
It's a great opportunity for people to obtain beautiful jewelry with no strings attached.

Q:  I love these "product parties"...but what's the difference between the "MB Social" concept and other "party" concepts currently out there?

A:  Great question!  The "host a party" concept is popular and provides great benefits for everyone involved.  The basic difference with the "MB Social" from the traditional concept is that the "MB Social" model has no innate requirements.  For example:

You do not have to meet a 'minimum' in sales from the "MB Social" in order to receive a percentage of those sales in free jewelry.
Also, some companies ask that at least one of your guests host a party as well; with the "MB Social" you do not have to elicit your friends (in any way) to host an "MB Social".
After your "MB Social" is finished and you have chosen the free jewelry you would like to have as a result of the sales generated at the "social", there is never, ever anything you have to do again...unless of course, you want to.
We do not have "consultants" or "independent consultants" who are trying to meet a preset company quota.  Having 'consultants or independent consultants' is generally used by larger companies that follow a business model known as "multi-level marketing".
The "MB Social" model is simply a social gathering surrounded by exquisite jewelry for sale by Mama Bracelets.

A:  Absolutely!  Some ideas include:

Wine/beer tasting!  Each friend brings a bottle of wine or a favorite beer to share!
Wine & cheese theme! Speaks for itself.
Recipe exchange!  Each friend brings a favorite recipe to share!  Bringing a sample taste can also be part of this idea.
The Cookie Cutters!  Each friend brings a plate of their favorite cookie/dessert to share.
Small Business Social!  Small business owners get together to share products and ideas.
Food from afar!  Choose a culture to highlight with the refreshment being served (Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Italian, etc.)

Q:  Do my friends get to take the jewelry home right away or is there a wait time?

A:  The jewelry at the "MB Social" is for demonstration purposes only.  Your friends would order their desired jewelry while attending the "MB Social".  The products would then be delivered to the host of the "MB Social".  For a small S/H fee, your friends could have their items shipped directly to them.

Q:  What happens if the product is no longer available?

A:  We would work with your friend (our new customer) to find the piece(s) of jewelry that would suffice.  We would also refund any monies if necessary.

Q:  Do I have to be in the Chicagoland Area to host an "MB Social"?

A: Not exactly.  If you want to have a personal "MB Social"  where people actually get together then yes, you would have to host the social in the Chicagoland Area.  We do, however, offer the opportunity to host the "MB Social" online!!
