POOLE, U.K. - Aug. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Following on from ongoing charity efforts, National Locksmith Keytek™, are to take part in a volunteer day at Holton Lee located in Poole, Dorset on Sunday 8th September from 10am – 4pm as part of the Company’s ongoing charity initiatives.

Staff from the Keytek™ National Head Office including their family and friends will be taking part in various activities, one of which will include pine pulling; a vital operation to stop young pine reverting to a plantation on the heathland at Holton Lee, therefore conserving the natural landscape and environment of the estate.

Eddie Wilkinson, Operations Director at Keytek™, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to bring the Keytek™ team together along with family and friends whilst volunteering for a fantastic local cause at the same time. Essentially the volunteer day at Holton Lee will enable Keytek™ to give back to the local community and environment.”

Holton Lee is a 350 acre estate located in a secluded corner of Dorset, it was founded in 1992 as an initiative to address the need for accommodation that is suitable for those who are disabled, therefore the charity provides residents with the accessibility they need and enhances their general wellbeing including that of their carers, family and friends through it’s variety of facilities. Holton Lee aims to do this by providing better opportunities for it’s residents and visitors to flourish in the arts, horticulture and the environment. Facilities include picturesque gardens, artist studios and beautiful natural surroundings. For more information regarding Holton Lee please visit www.holtonlee.co.uk or contact 01202 625 562.

Previously the Keytek™ team have taken part in various charity activities including last year’s gruelling 80 mile cycle ride from Bath to Bournemouth in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Following on from this the National Locksmiths will be taking part in yet another charity cycle event in aid of The British Heart Foundation, the ‘Glastonbury Bike Ride’ on the 29th September.
