By: Time to Revive Time to Revive (TTR) is honored to be coordinating this tour along-side Ann Quest, Board for TTR, and formerly the Texas State Coordinator and Dallas Coordinator for the NDP. Because of Ann’s service with both organizations, this Dallas tour has been made possible. As Ann says “God has used both of these ministries to change my life. One to open my heart to the need for our nation to humble ourselves together for America. And then, because of the NDP event in Dallas in 2007, a young man, Kyle Lance Martin helped me see that a second door needed to be swung open to help me recognize that believers must do more than pray. We must be willing to have the courage to invite others into His Kingdom, and that is what TTR does, as we go to the streets and invests in the lives of others who do not yet know Jesus Christ.” Dallas-based Time to Revive began with the the 2007 Dallas Revival. What started as a gathering of believers, has since ignited eight other city awakenings: reviveSANTAFE (NM), Awaken the Valley (Sedona, AZ), reviveFLINT (MI), reviveASHEVILLE (NC), reviveSEATTLE (WA), reviveDEVILSLAKE (ND), reviveRICHMOND (CA), and reviveCOLUMBIA (SC). The seventh and most recent outreach, reviveDEVILSLAKE, brought together 400+ volunteers from across the country to Devils Lake, ND to share the Gospel of Jesus. Founder/CEO of TTR, Kyle Lance Martin has continued to honor God’s calling on his life to see this nation revived and to encourage believers to share the the Truth that transforms lives. While traveling the nation, TTR continues its dedication to Dallas, organizing weekly meetings for prayer and outreach in Dallas. “This upcoming time of prayer makes me think of the days in 2007 under the Dallas Tent off of Gaston Avenue when the Church of Dallas came together to call upon the name of the Lord for revival. But instead of having one tent in one location, we will be driving a bus throughout the city of Dallas asking the Lord to raise up like-minded believers who will strategically come together and corporately pray. I am looking forward to the bus stops and the Spirit moving amidst His people,” says Martin. Other organizations and churches are joining in prayer for our nation on September 3 along with NDP and TTR. Those include but are not limited to Dallas Bible Church, Scofield Memorial Church, The Village Church - Dallas, Smokey John’s Bar-B-Que, Christ for the Nations Institute, Turner Courts Recreation Center and City Church International. National Day of Prayer Task Force has a mission to mobilize prayer in America and to encourage personal repentance and righteousness in the culture. The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. (nationaldayofprayer.org) Pray for America Rally Tour commissioned by the National Day of Prayer Task Force, began a 23,000 mile, 300-city, 100-day, 37-state tour on May 31 in Pittsburgh, PA. Aboard a specially decorated tour bus, our team (featuring a group of authors and speakers, such as John Bornschein, Dion Elmore, Kathy Branzell, Lisa Crump, Ryan Dobson and others) is carrying this challenge (to engage, encourage and equip in prayer) from community to community, from state to state, and from coast to coast. (commit2pray.com/ Time to Revive seeks to encourage believers to embrace their relationship with Jesus Christ and to share the Truth that transforms lives in preparation for the return of Christ. Our organization pursues outreaches in Dallas and across the nation that give believers an opportunity to join together and share Christ in serving communities with spiritual needs.
